After our team did a visual inspection, we found the play on six-leaf spring bushings. We removed and installed both leaf spring bushings. Each side of the truck takes two bushings. One on the rear end and one bushing at the front. On the passenger side, we had to replace the rear bracket due to excess wear and tear. We recommend a front end alignment after replacement of the bushing on the steering axle. This kind of service takes several hours. We did one side at a time to ensure the safety of our diesel mechanics. We have been servicing Mr. Contreras’s trucks for many years.
